Our Mission Statement
Our mission is to design, manufacture and install innovative wardrobe and storage joinery. To store and make accessible clothes and personal effects in line with our clients’ needs and to ensure a quality finish that meets and surpasses client expectations.
We deliver on this promise by providing a clear design along with information to make decisions on any modifications and finish options tailored to suit your requirements. Our quality designs pay careful attention to form and proportion ensuring these ideas are transformed to a functional design.
Our manufacturing techniques use both modern and traditional construction methods using only high grade materials and fittings. A better understanding of our clients’ needs; quality control and project management expertise from design through to installation ensures we avoid surprises on delivery.
Our story started in 2005 as Whole Wardrobes
In May 2005, cousins Steve and Peter Harvey worked on an idea of a joinery company specialising in wardrobes and storage solutions. Both Steve and Peter have extensive backgrounds in the joinery and building industry and recognised a need for quality, functional products which are guaranteed 100%.
2012 - a new manufacturing facility and a rename to "Re Space"
In 2012 Whole Wardrobes changed their name to Re Space to reflect the wide range of storage solutions offered including sliding doors, laundry and home office installations.
Re Space's dedication to delivering exceptional service and quality custom joinery has been well received by homeowners and the building trade throughout Nelson, Blenheim and Marlborough. The majority of housing companies and builders in our area are using our wardrobes and storage joinery. The demand from these companies, as well as a growing number of orders from private homeowners, has seen Re Space need to expand into a custom built manufacturing facility.
Re Space is also delighted to be supplying custom storage joinery in regions outside Nelson such as Blenheim, the West Coast and Christchurch. In Christchurch we supply joinery to commercial customers.
Ann Richardson is now registered as a Qualified Kitchen Designer with the Joinery Industry Training Organisation (JITO) further expanding on her 10 years experience and ability to help customers get the ideal design.
